KORG Brings Classic Mono/Poly to iOS

Over the past few years KORG has been bringing spot-on reproductions of their classic synths to iOS. Now they have released iMono/Poly — a software reproduction of their classic 4VCO Mono/Poly synthesizer. The Mono/Poly was first released in 1981 along side the Polysix. Specdrums Musical Rings

Create beats, melodies and loops by tapping on anything with color with Specdrums musical rings. Specdrums are a two part system consisting of rings (up to 10) that can detect colors and then transmit the color information to a mobile app. The app then takes the color information and turns it into sounds based off the loaded instrument. The app offers various types of keyboards and drum kits and you can add your own recordings and sound effects. You can then save your performance as color themes for future playback. The Specdrums rings can also transmit MIDI over Bluetooth giving you the ability to use them as MIDI controllers in other apps and software.
